Welcome to the Ron Smith State Farm Agent office in Englewood, FL. I recently celebrated my 50th year with State Farm as an agent in Florida since 1974. I love what I do even after all these years, and have no intention of retiring any time soon. It is incredibly rewarding to be able to help people protect the people, places, and things they care about most. I lead a team of incredible individuals who work hard every day to make sure each State Farm customer who walks through our doors leaves knowing they have coverage for their most important things. We proudly serve our Good Neighbors in Charlotte and Sarasota counties, including residents of Placida, Cape Haze, Rotonda West, North Port, Venice, Port Charlotte, and beyond.
In addition to helping people with their insurance needs, I’m proud to help support our local businesses as a member of the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. When I’m not in the office, you can often find me playing golf, hiking, watching sports, or spending time with my family. I am happily married with four grown children, eight grandkids, and two great-grandchildren. We also have three dogs that keep us busy at home.
